 Computer Games
Why play computer games?
Some people understand about playing computer games, some people just do not. It's a black and white difference it seems to me. For those that don't like playing computer games and think it's all just silly and pointless, stop reading now :)
Okay, now for those that get where I'm coming from, you know that playing computer games is an ageless experience, able to be enjoyed by many. I think it's all about immersing yourself in the story / the action / the part .. whatever the game you're playing. The best games are those that you can really get 'inside' of and feel a part of. The worst are the ones that leave you totally unaffected by them.
Games I like
There are some games that I have spent a fair amount of time on and that I think are great to play. They include: Age Of Empires 2: Age Of Kings, Half-Life, Civilisation II (& Fantastic Worlds), MechWarrior3, Total Annihilation, StarCraft, Conflict Freespace, Diablo, EarthSiege2.
Games like the above let you get right into their particular story and make you want to play them! .. It takes different things for different people but I know myself that I prefer the strategy and/or story games to just mindless blasting. Blasting is good fun too but it's better when there's something else there too. :)
